Door to your unit insulation and noise reduction

Hello all,

Thanks to Greg and Tina, I learned that the front door can be better insulated, as well as having better noise reduction. The process is inexpensive and effective. Go to Logan Hardware on P & 14th St., pick up the "white door" sweep to tape to the bottom of your door. Also, pick up the thinner (it's 17 ft long) white foam stripping for door frame insulation and simply tape it around the inside of your door. You will like how much softer the door close, but more importantly how much less noise you'll hear from outside of the unit (including the elevator voice and ring).
